Ingredients

  • 2 medium flour tortillas

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)

  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

  • Optional toppings:

    • Powdered sugar glaze (powdered sugar + milk or cream)

    • Maple syrup

    • Extra cinnamon or powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  • Melt the Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt about 1 tablespoon of butter per tortilla.

  • Butter the Tortillas
Using a brush or spoon, spread the melted butter evenly over one side of each tortilla.

  • Mix the Cinnamon Sugar
In a small bowl, combine the sugar and cinnamon. Adjust the ratio to your taste.

  • Sprinkle the Mix
Evenly coat the buttered side of each tortilla with the cinnamon-sugar mixture, reaching all the way to the edges.

  • Roll & Slice
Roll each tortilla tightly into a log. Slice each into 2 or 3 even pieces.

  • Arrange in Pan
Place each piece upright (cut side up) in a greased pan, skillet, or air fryer basket. Press gently to flatten the bottom slightly.

  • Cook Your Way

    • Stovetop: Cook in a skillet over low heat, 2–3 minutes per side.

    • Oven: Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10–12 minutes.

    • Air Fryer: Cook at 350°F (175°C) for 5–7 minutes, checking halfway through.

  • Add Finishing Touches
Drizzle with glaze, syrup, or dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm!

Notes

  • Want extra gooey rolls? Add a sprinkle of brown sugar before rolling.

  • For a deeper flavor, try adding a drop of vanilla extract to the melted butter.

  • Gluten-free tortillas or low-carb versions work too—just adjust cooking time slightly.
